3. Body types

There are six primary bot classes in the world of ROVEN. Each robot class has particular advantages and disadvantages. Players will choose unique configurations and ordnance layouts within the context of a particular class.

3.1 Dronus

The Dronus Class is the largest of the Roven classes. It is designed to carry Special Purpose Modules (SPMs) for defense and drone manufacture. It's large size allows it to carry respectable amounts of cargo, however this is offset by its relatively slow speed. Its primary arena strategy is to use its SPMs to deny enemy attacks until it is able to power its weapons and build assault drones.

3.2 Harbinger

The Harbinger Class Roven is a very lean design, built for mobility and speed. It is fitted with aerodynamic surfaces and can support the most powerful drive technology. However, it's armor configuration is vulnerable to toxic attacks, and it is not capable of using many powerful weapons due to its light frame. The Harbinger's best bet is to present a difficult target by remaining mobile and attempting to attack its opponents from the rear.

3.3 Hazard

This Roven class is designed to withstand toxic materials. It's special armor and containment bays allow it to make use of the most dangerous and corrosive weapons in the game. It is shielded against radioactivity, corrosion and flame-based attacks. However, the Hazard's armor has a high electromagnetic visibility, making it vulnerable to long range targeted attacks. Further, the additional shielding has the effect of reducing the Hazard's overall strength, limiting its melee damage and ability to carry additional armor.

3.4 Sentinel

The Sentinel is equipped with a sophisticated electro magnetically "aware" chassis. This gives this design great advantages in target acquisition and detection. Further, this technology enhances its ability to foil enemy detection, both by jamming enemy radar, and by maintaining a low electromagnetic visibility profile. Operating in stealth mode, this Roven class is nearly undetectable. However, the Sentinel is lightly armored and is unable to operate high-yield weapons, encouraging a less aggressive approach.

3.5 Venger

This Roven is built for close range combat. It is by far the most heavily armored of the Roven, and is possessed of great strength. It has a very low storage capacity, and reduced targeting and stealth capabilities, so its very best strategy is to close with its opponents as quickly as possible and pummel them into submission.

3.6 Wargod

The Wargod Class Roven is essentially a walking weapons platform. It is capable of operating the most powerful weapons available. This abundance of weapons carrying capacity reduces its ability to store Special Purpose Modules, and it has issues with maneuverability. The Wargod is vulnerable to rear attacks, and is best served by maintaining a moderate distance as it pounds away at its opponents.
